Custom Bears

While you can order a predesigned bear like the ones seen in the gallery, you may also order a custom designed bear that will be made to your specifications.

-Mohair Bears

These bears are made of 100% German Schulte mohair and come in practically any color of your choice. Most are jointed at the arms, legs, and head and all are stuffed with premium fiberfill and weighted with plastic pellets. All are made with blown glass eyes, hand-embroidered noses, and Ultrasuede paw pads. All bears come complete with a hand-crafted wooden heart made by Paul Anderson. Sizes range from 8" (smallest) to 24" (largest) bears.

-Real Fur Bears

Teddy bears made from recycled fur have a certain elegance that make them truly irresistable. The appeal is even greater when the fur also has strong sentimental meaning to the collector. I will gladly create an heirloom bear for you from your old fur coat. Furs that work especially well include mink, beaver, fox, and raccoon. Fur bears are more fragile than mohair bears since the pelts tear more easily. Older furs may require special conditioning, and all fur bears are lined to make them sturdier. -Non-Jointed Bears

Most of my bears are fully jointed which means that you can rotate their head and pose their limbs. I can also make a 15" or 18" non-jointed teddy bear which is floppier and softer. My bears are all designed as collectibles, and even the non-jointed bears are not safe for small children.
